Thank you so much~! As for your question, I will pick the fishing pole with no line. This is because, I can use the pole and materials found in the wild to make a makeshift spear, by fracturing the rock to get the sharpness you need. It depends on the area, but flint, chert, or obsidian work the best from what I've read. You can get cordage from dead tree bark or plant fibres to tie it together if you know what you're doing. There exists a method of fishing called spearfishing which uses such tools to catch fish rather than fishing with a line. If you know how to make a spear in the wild, you can use it to gather fish.
